perception (open the mind)

Quarter falls, bounces, rolls, and then shivers down. You’ve listen to each sound to vision in mind where it has fallen too. Though, each sound seemed to be near you it came to reality that it was just an illusion, the quarter has vanished. The mind is unique, so is faith, the mind is powerful, so is the soul. The mind is tamed, though, out of control. “Confused”? - Well ever heard of the saying “you see what you want to see”, which leads to the strengths of beliefs. You believed that the quarter was going to be exactly where it fell (where you wanted it to be) by using your senses (unique) the feeling of finding that quarter was mutual, it was almost as if faith was on your side. Forgetting, that faith alone is unique and anonymous, yet still far from confusion for the mind is powerful, but still no quarter. Suddenly, temper rises, the mind is no longer tamed, and you are now out of control. Therefore, no longer knowing what to believe in anymore, what was original has just transformed right before your eyes. For example, “the bible” and it’s variety of views on life. When moments like these occur there is really no answer or explanation for the cause of it, only the effects. Maybe, intoxication can be the answer but, this happened when sober. Wait! Frustration can be the answer but, that can be a good use towards determination, eventually the quarter would’ve been found right? We must not forget that there are some things in life that cannot be controlled, things that cannot be explained, such as the contrast of color being different after hours, like the leaves of trees and bushes looking greener, healthier and richer at night. Remember “the mind of a man controls every emotion and every feeling in life. Therefore, pain does not exist unless you let it; love is not real unless you believe in it. The mind of a man is a powerful thing but can also be limited by only giving you the emotions and feeling you believe in. so, the less you believe the more you’re not there, the more you believe the more your everywhere.”- Jason Burnett
